"Blood Red Sandman" by Lordi

"Blood Red Sandman" by Lordi

The TRIVIA is two posts down!

Kick ass band from Finland... Visually, it's obvious these guys got some influence from GWAR...not that I have a problem with that because I love it when costumed bands are done well... However, Lordi's music is totally unlike GWAR and is very 80's metal sounding...and this particular song's video is based on the "Evil Dead" movies (one part also reminds me of one scene from Dimension Films's "Dracula 2000")...killer music, killer image, and Evil Dead...just can't go wrong with that shite...!

Hi Scott,

Thanks for visiting and posting over at my site, much appreciated!

About this band LORDI, did you know that they won the EUROVISION SONG CONTEST this past year ? It's a big deal to fans of the show (all over Europe) because only POP bands ever win that gig. The bands are chosen directly by the viewers of the live t.v. show. When LORDI won the contest it was in all the major papers throughout Europe! They won for HARD ROCK HALLELUJAH ; )

Hey Scott! Been buried at work and some self-searching stuff. Trying to halt the year with a clearer perspective. =)

Hope everything is going well with you.

All the best to you and your family on 2007!

Happy New Year!
